Sara Renner is fast... two WC podiums for Canada this past weekend and neither belonged to Beckie... that's three Canadian women who can win Olympic medals. Into it. Big time. (Photo of Sara from Canmore).

Kris Freeman early in the race. Yes, his fitness is there. Results are primarily a matter of fitness - but not only fitness and things like pacing, psychology, skis, etc all factor in to the final result. We are very pleased with the trend in how all our athletes' fitness is taking. Of course we are not satisfied with these results however, but we understand why we are where we are and know how to get where we want to be. We can do it. To see if we will do it... well, that is why we hold the races.

Wendy Wagner is coming into her best shape of her life. (photo from Canmore - had not time to take shots in the women's race - sorry).

James Southam.

Andrew Johnson. Good crowds came out for the race in Davos.
Yesterday we left Davos at 8am. We arrived Torino at noon and underwent full Olympisizing, press conferencing, outfitting, and the whole show. We arrived at the village at 11pm. I cannot speak for anyone else but I was completely Olympiced out at that point. It is morning now and the sun is up on the mountains and I'm back into it. It is basically back to business now - the normal stuff - waxing, testing, training, resting.
I'm not sure what the rules are for updating from the Olympics. So you might get some updates from the Limpics - so keep your eyes pealed.
The work on the Olympics is still in progress. They paved the road up to Pragelato a few feet wider yesterday. Building are not done, the paint is still drying (litterally) at the Games. In spite of the long day out stoke is up. Whoever you are cheering for I hope your stoke is high as well.
