Rebecca won a tough battle yesterday... will likely rest up for the 5km skate.

\r\nRebecca Dussault - still looking for 5th gear but feeling stronger as the season goes on.
\r\nKikkan Randall - her best events coming up... good short distance racer, especially sprinter.
\r\nAubrey Smith - felt good yesterday, but didn't end up high on the results - keep an eye on her.
\r\nSarah Conrad - food poisoning kept her out of the 15km... but look out for her in the 5km skate.
\r\nWendy Wagner - great classical skier. Has she found her form this year?
\r\nLindsay Williams - another great classical skier... young talent from NMU.
\r\nLindsey Weier - yet another great classical skier and another young talent from NMU.
\r\nHilary Patzer - suffered a tough start to the season but has been recovering and looking ahead...
\r\nAlison Crocker - talent from Dartmouth that can ski some tough classical.
\r\nMelissa Schwartz - the Oram of old is in school, married and happy - could put in some good races.
\r\nKatie Ronsee - An Alaska Winter Star skiing for DU - talent especially in the shorter races and sprint.
\r\n(that's the top 11 on the ussa points list - not up dated after the 15km)
\r\nOf course you have look out for Baughman and Abi Larson as well as young guns Arritola and Spector (and what about Aelin Peterson?) as well as quite a few college skiers (US and otherwise).

\r\nConditions will be tougher for the Women's race which starts later in the day... should be warm with new snow... waxing them up right could be a challenge.
\r\n
\r\nThe USST will be posting the wax they use outside their trailer (Wax room) prior to every race.
\r\n
