Nationals... some contenders

\n
David Chamberlain... a great skate race to get the week started.

\r\n
\r\n
\n
John Bauer. Can this man win a race this week? Is the Bow back? Looking that way. Looking like he wants to win a medal in 2006... but he aint saying for sure...

\r\n
\r\n
\n
What will Lars do in the next few races... always a threat.

\r\n
\r\nWho else is out there?
\r\n
\r\nKris Freeman - training at home for Worlds.
\r\nCarl Swenson - this guy could win any race any day, but he hasn't found top form yet...
\r\nAndrew Newell - excellent distance classical skier - but look for him in the sprint.
\r\nTorin Koos - also a good distance classical skier - but look for him in the sprint.
\r\nAndrew Johnson - seems to have found his happy place...
\r\nChamberlain - good classical skier - look out for him
\r\nFlora - good classical skier - should be a great battle
\r\nChris Cook - good classical skier - should be in the fight
\r\nChad Geise - good classical skier - will come out swinging for sure
\r\nLeif Zimmermann - much improved classical skier and has been recovering from a hard fall of training...
\r\nJames Southam - should put together some great results this week
\r\nZach Simmons - good classical skier - but look for him in the sprint...
\r\nJustin Freeman - struggling to find form and stay healthy, but this kid can ski classical.
\r\n(that's the top 13 on the ussa list - not updated since the 30km)
\r\nThere are also a host of college skiers (US and otherwise) and of course Babikov and don't ever forget about Bauer...
\r\n
\r\nConditions should be good for the men's race tomorrow with colder conditions and likely some new snow.
\r\n
\r\nStay tuned!
