Other World Visitor, Home-Planet Killer or Bill Gates Travel Thriller: UFO Sighting

\r\nI have seen a UFO. I’m not saying it was a UFO in a Mars-attacks, alien-spacecraft sort of way, but it was definitely a UFO in the Unidentified Flying Object kind of way. Which isn’t to say it wasn’t an alien spacecraft. I don’t know what it was; all I know is that I saw it.

\r\nIt was one of those things you see, but don’t register at first – like a deer on the side of the highway at dusk – and by the time I registered that there was something odd in the sky, it had dissolved, or seemed to have dissolved right into the blue.
\r\nIt was fading as I first registered seeing it and was nearly gone when I took the picture and only a moment later was gone all together.

\r\nI was outside at the time of the sighting, standing about 50 yards from the lodge looking out over the Southern Alps of New Zealand’s south island. Like I said I didn’t really realize I was looking at anything at first. Then I’m like, am I seeing this? What am I seeing here? Then I focused in and snapped a picture as the disk slowly ascended and simultaneously faded into the color of the sky.

\r\nI can’t say for sure if it is my memory filling in the blanks or if I really saw this, but the disk seemed to be closer in color to that of the mountains before it reached the sky at which time it quickly lightened in color and then faded until it was gone and I was left standing there hoping it would show up on my camera. I doubt many people will believe it was an alien spacecraft, and I guess I’m not even making that claim. All I’m saying is that I saw something in the sky and I don’t know what it was. Spacecraft? Why not? And why not a near-invisible space craft – who would want humans to see you? Military craft? The best combat land-craft we can come up with is a Hummer – I doubt we can make invisible space ships quite yet. Bill Gates’ secret time machine? An illusion? Possible. A hallucination? Only if my camera was on the same thing I was. I won’t say either way what I think I saw, but I can say I saw a UFO. And this is my picture of it.
