Some Thoughts on Sports Psychology
Sports Psychology – Books and Thoughts on the Subject \r\n \r\nBy Wendy Wagner \r\n \r\n \r\nBeing an athlete, I have found it is easy to get out and train. However I have consistently struggled with my mental training. The concept of mental training has been proven again and again to be an essential part of success. \r\n \r\nIt is often said that success in competitive athletics is 35% a mental battle. Just imagine gaining mental control over your racing and the vast improvements which may be made possible by conquering that hurdle! \r\n \r\nThere are great questions, answers and advice from athletes on the subject of sports psychology for us to ponder or put into practice. Below I have listed the books that fellow women athletes have found useful in their skiing pursuits. Maybe you can get some ideas from these books and see if it is something that can help you in your skiing and life pursuits. \r\n \r\n
