Does that look right to you?

As the temperature plummeted in Silver Star this weekend the Continental Cup team turned up the heat with a good showing in the 10/15k Free and 1.2K CL sprint... The races were on the World Cup trails in Silver Star, BC. Soverign Lakes Nordic Center, the site for the World Cup races in 2005, has world class racing trails. The races included all of the Canadian National Team that isn't over in Europe. The fields are tough and they include skiers who have a lot of World Cup experience.
10/15K Free on Saturday:
Morgan Arritola on her way to a fourth place on the 10K skate on Saturday...

minus 13 celsius and humid makes for a cold day of racing this early in the season. Morgan's team-mates Lindsay Dehlin and Lindsay Williams were 7th and 8th respectively.
The Sun Valley ODT team came up for the Nor/Am races... Mikey Sinnott Sun Valley ODT here in the 15K Skate...

Ben True, Sun Valley ODT...

Sprint Day on Sunday:
Classic sprint on Sunday
Williams at the start... The temps warmed on Sunday just enough to let in snow 5 cm during the heats. Not warm enough for Williams to race without a neck warmer though.

Mikey Sinnott from Sun Valley/Subaru Factory seen here on the start line with four Canadian National Team skiers... Mikey was fourth on the day and his team-mate Colin Rodgers, Sun Valley/Fischer-Craft, was third...

Women's A final with no sight of Lindsey and Lindsay... Yet

This hill on the course marks about half way through the race. The Linds(a-e)ys were calm and collected up this hill and made their move on the finishing stretch with some mean double-poling.
Lindsay Williams 1st... Lindsey Dehlin 3rd...

A parting shot with a view from our breakfast table in Silver Star... This is where we would hear about the World Cup results before we would go race in the morning. (Since it is 9 hours ahead of our time in FIN.) It is a good feeling to sit down for a race breakfast, with this view, and also get the news of Newell 4th and Freeman 5th.

Enjoy the process...
